So here is why I haven't finished the engine lid.  The top part never lined up well with the roof and no mater how much I heated it and tried for it to stay in place it always went back.  Finally I decided to add more fiberglass to the top and that fixed it and now it lines up much better.  Still a bit more work to go but it was late last night so I will finish it today.  I also have to remove all that sucky a$$ rattle can primer that is on there.

Roof is completely done, including the small third brake light panel.  I have it mounted and aligned with it's brackets and I also fixed the gap all the way around.  I didn't get pictures but I also primed and finished mounting the small sail panels that go right behind the 1/4 windows.  All I have left to do this week is finish the engine lid.  It has taken me a bit longer because someone else had put some cheap rattle can primer  >:( on there and I have to strip it all off before I can add my primer.

Door exterior in primer and installed back on the car.  Gaps look pretty good with just some minimal adjustment left that should come out in the next round of blocking.  3 more panels to prime and I should be done  ::headbang

Saturday morning I got up early finished up the body work on the door jamb.  This took a bit longer than I wanted and I didn't prime it until about noon.  My plan was to get it primed early to give the primer enough time to dry and then flip it over and prime the outside.  Long story short, primer didn't dry enough before I had to call it a day  >:(

Oh well, I'll have to prime it today when I get home.

and by the way, you find a way out of that nagging thing ..you let us know ::scratch

LOL I  will buddy

Continuing with more body work but at least now I can see that I am almost finished.  I should have the car in primer by next weekend.  I finished the body work on the right side and now I removed the door and started working on the jambs.  After this only the engine lid and roof are what's left.
