I'm assuming it looks better cutting out the lights in the g28 body and just buying them mostly complete,  pre painted.  I could just paint the ones in the body but they don't look as clean as the ones that are pre done.

A hundred dollar powdercoat gun from Harbor Freight and your wife's oven. Paint colors or chrome, this is just like they do it on the chrome pieces of a model car. It is really a pretty easy process.

What do people use to paint the rings silver?  That stuff couldn't possibly be a spray can job lol

Looking for completed headlight tubs that fit the g28 body, I plan on cutting out the ones in the body. Anyone make any with rings and pre painted black?
