FFG2 cover most of the pinholes but a few remain.  Using evercoat metal glaze ultra to fill these

Thought this blocking 180 grit could be used but even with 80 the FFG2 clogs the paper up a bit

Lines and panels really coming along with this blocking

Second application of FFG2.

Really dialed my gun in and it flowed a lot better with minimal orange peal
no reduction 2.0 tip and a D cap with 4.9 psi on a 5 stage turbine.

Used about a gallon

No new updates on your build?

Hey Michael,  I had to go get a Steroid shot in my right shoulder as I had a constant ache, which was reminiscent of a pain I had in my left shoulder 20 years ago and ended up having rotator cuff surgery.

I took some time off to let it heal and doing some therapy to strengthen the right side.  I'm left handed and the right has always been weaker.

I go back to the Drs on the 26th of October,  its a lot better but still kind of f'd.

Started blocking the car with some new blocks  https://linearblockingtools.com/ which seem to help as they are easier to hold on to.

I’m not on much these days. Life has been busy but, I do stop in to check out builds from time to time. It has been an incredible transformation for sure. You do excellent work! You’ll have it finished in no time. Keep at it man

Looks like all that prep work paid off big time. Looks fantastic!

thanks Dale!!, It sure is a lot of work.  with more ahead.  Really liking the FFG2 in black, no guide coat needed as it turns grey when you sand it.  Also every littlie issue is so apparent in the Black as it has sheen to it.

Sprayed some FFG2 on the REDO.  Nice to see it in one color.

Black is a great color to ID areas that need some additional work.

Plan is to block and fix the obvious issues.

Then spray FFG2, block again then move to 2k primer.

FYI all the individual pieces are just placed on the car and not mounted  :D
