I know and use that stuff! It will cover anything but my farm supply only has it in three colors: Caterpillar yellow, John Deere green, and my favorite International Harvester red.

I got some painting done with a fraction of free time yesterday. I used Majic paint from a local farm store. It's a strong, extra thick paint that would work really well for a chassis. I brushed it on but it lays out smooth like it was applied with a gun. I'll certainly be using it on my chassis.

Awesome. Got any LP640 ones lying around?
I haven't seen a 640 badge. Do you have any pictures?

Nah. I don't think they made an LP640 emblem but it would be cool if they did.

Feast your eyes on these babies. I Was finally able to make them last night with a 4 hour run time. Sometimes slow and steady wins the race.  :santa

I knocked out a few shifter plates last night. Thanks Purple SV for cutting the blanks. It certainly speeds up the milling process on my end.  ::thumbup ::beers
What kind of mills did you use to make those and to carve the  ::LAMBO2 logo? Can you post some pictures of the mills or tools you used? Thank you!
Used a 5 axis Henri Lin'e on this job as well. Solid carbide 2 flute ball nose for the 3D profile milling, 1/4" carbide 3 flute for the hole openings and counter bore, 1/32" carbide 2 flute for milling lambo script.

I'm still scratching my head on how any of that can be of use, but hopefully it helps!

I made the trim ring from aluminum to produce a mold. I machined the ring instead of the mold because I can make as many molds as needed if they break down over time. The ring still needs some polishing to be perfect but its pretty close to complete.
What are the measurements and the thickness of the plate? What kind of machine did you use? Is it all made of aluminum?

I'm not sure how any of your questions will be of any help to you.
T6 aluminum. I usually use something around 5"x5"X.500" but that can vary. Machine is a 5 axis Henri Lin'e

Glad I could help! It's extraordinary when two people, from two backgrounds, can come together to make something so beautiful!  ;)
I met a man with a dollar, we exchanged dollars and we still had a dollar. I met a man with an idea, we exchanged ideas and now we both have two ideas!!!
