Title: Anyone Know What This Tool Is?
Post by: BigPines on August 18, 2014, 11:12:42 AM
In the attached pic, the guy is using a tool to make sure his body is symmetrical. I've never seen one before but I like the idea. Anyone know what it is called?

It is a contour gauge or profile gauge.  You can get them at most hardware stores.
Here is one link:

Thanks IKR. That is the first place I went to look after RT told me what it was. Looks like you can chain them together to make them longer. I think I'll pick up a couple of them to play with. The price is right!

Come on, RT.  I thought that you said that you used a stick of balsa and hat pins.  ;-)

01Lambiero…
Geeze, Jim!  You just can't keep a secret, can you?  LOL

PS.  I wasn't recommending Eastwood, it was just the first I found.  Even the cheapest ones will work for what you need.
