Hey guys, I am probably going to order the steel soon for a custom frame but I need to know if the chassis works plans are pretty good for a murcielago build.
Opinions?
Thanks guys

I don't see why not. It seems no one is available to comment on how it drives but you have to add a lot more steel for the body and extra strength as it's an incomplete chassis. It's a basic design for any mid engine car. You can make changes easily or mix it up with the naerc frame.

Hey One
The guy selling those plans is very helpful but, I will tell you Cliff has an exact OEM chassis replicated I mean it is exact has I had measurements from a OEM chassis in hand while my car was being built, you might want to contact him and see what he would charge as those plans do not have the upper steel work for the roof, quarters and such. I am just saying from the chassis I have and the plans I bought from Chassis works still required allot of additional fab to get all your mounting points, drop Cliff an email has I can tell you his work is outstanding.

Can anyone help with NAERC plans? Is it the same base design for a murcielago?
I am willing to pay, so I'm not looking for a freeload if you paid for plans.
Thanks!

Ok, not a bad day. I found a supplier not too far away and he gave me a baseline quote of approximately $1,100 for all tubing for the main chassis miter cut and pieced together to simply jigsaw puzzle it together on my assembly table.
He is going to quote me a price for piecing it ALL together for the chassis works chassis. Not a bad deal for all material and cuts.

wow not bad at all, wish mine were already cut

jamack, Are you talking about http://cliffscustomfab.com (http://cliffscustomfab.com) having the exact murci chassis replicated? That may be an interesting option.

Here is a link for a Diablo chassis, it looks authentic. I purchased this cd for $35. It's a bunch of copied blue prints and list of materials.

The chassis works chassis is what I am building. The chassis works download has all the auto cad prints for your steel supplier to load into laser cutters etc. Chassis works has a wealth of information.

Thank you. I am looking for an OEM chassis so I can use all original parts. Will OEM parts fit on the chassis in that link? Murci not diablo. Thanks again guys!
