I have no idea how much hp is lost driving the front wheels, but logic would indicate that there is some.  I don't think that four wheel drive would make a mid engine car quicker on acceleration.  I could be wrong though.  I was wrong once before.

I really would like to run a real Lambo just to see what would happen.

If this does get set up, please let me know. I'm in SoCal too and will try my best to be there.

Supposedly I have about the same hp with 400 lbs lighter weight and none of the hp is wasted on four wheel drive.

Wasted on 4WD? How much energy is really wasted in the Murcielago/Aventador AWD implementations? I doubt much at all if any. If you have some information on this, I would love to see it. I am very interested.

I don't offer to run for pinks if the other car has big fat tires on it.  Anyway my point was that there is always a car out there that is faster eventually no matter what you do.

You mean like a real Lamborghini?

Anyway my point was that there is always a car out there that is faster eventually no matter what you do.

This is very true.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

I'm willing to concede right off the bat.  Curious though, what are you going to blow my doors off with.  Usually they decline when I offer to run for pinks.

My G28 is pretty quick with it's turbo ls4, but I know that there are built mustangs etc. that can blow my doors off.  Any stock Lambo or Ferrari can lose a drag race to a heavily modified car.
