spent my day limbing trees and doing manual labor.  ::help

When I could steal away, work on the passenger sail panel.

I can really say this is a big improvement to the build.

still have some adjustments

Greatly appreciate you taking the time to document these efforts. Helps future builders that you can make parts fit with a little effort. So many will benefit from your build thread.
Thanks again.

Thank you Dale!

Hopefully your project is in better shape than the REDO  :LL:

Nope, it’s way worse. Lol I will have a ton of trial and error. Once I dig in on mine you will see.

Keep up the great work!

You are doing fine job with what you have.
Let this remind everyone why these should never be called a "KIT" car!

Thanks RT!  I know I go into a lot of detail on my build
thread  :LL:  But this is what these builds
 are like.

I am really enjoying the process, but have no clue when I will be finished  8)  ::toothy

It isn't enough to want a Lambo, you have to want to BUILD A CAR.

But wait there is more !!!

Over all I like the FGP parts but they put this nasty black primer on.  The gel coat is to thin.  So sand off the black primer

Once the black primer is removed you can see all the things they had to fix.  Used some rage to fix some issues

Pinholes  ::)

One thing I noticed on the passenger side it the length of the OEM Replica rocker panel...seemed long

So I cut of the finished edge in the front of the rocker

the cut off the amount needed, to get the rear of the rocker where I wanted it to be

Then Grind, CSM flip Grind CSM grind CSM

dont forget to acetone ! 8)

Domino effect.....  the steel mounting frame for the tranny oil cooler required a RED Not seeing a hand to forehead emoji  ::)

Normally I would grind down any goopy welds but this time I passed  :LL:

I did add extra space for more rubber washers for the tans oil cooler.

So when the driver rocker (OEM Replica) was installed I did it wrong.   ::)  It was a while ago and not sure what I was thinking.  Some how I cut to much of the Quarter panel off.  888o  To fix this .....

Increase qtr panel by grinding backside of qtr panel and adding about 2-3 inches of CSM

Then Grind down the front and  CSM

Dura glass and Rage.  Good news Im getting pretty good at laying the duraglass on smoothly  ::toothy  Bad news, my mistake took a ton of time to fix

Now the rockers matches the distance to the ground from side to side.  :LL:
