nice wheels , but I would after all set up remove and  get old BMW or Corvette rims with crappy tires , so when doing body work and paint they not gonna get damaged. OH BMW /Vette are 5 X 120  maybe you have dif bolt pattern

Got the QA1 bearing kit in today.

Worked on the floor pan, two objectives make the space wider to fit the seat & brake handle, and drop the floor 1.5 or so inches.

The IKR fiberglass piece was trimmed to fit closer to the inside of the door sill, which gave me about 1/2 inch

The slope from the console was reduced and it gave an additional
+1.5" or so of space.

I used weld through primer....not to happy working with this product or how the welds looked using this stuff,  but it will be covered up anyway  ::toothy

Now there is plenty of room side to side for the seat and e brake set up ;D

Sanded the front bumper to see the extent of bondo, looks to be about 1/4 to 3/8 of inch thick in places....why?  ::scratch

The other damage is a bit worse than I thought.  The big crack difficult or impossible to reach from the back side.  There are numerous other issues on this bumper.....  Not a REDO but a POS!!   888o

Aye, aye, Capt'n!

lol, yeah, might be a bit to much... :)  plus it could be in the way of my latching mechanism.  Have to figure it out.  Appreciate the comments, keep them coming!

Might be a REDO of a REDO   ;D
