WOW! He made those?
I met a man with a dollar, we exchanged dollars and we still had a dollar. I met a man with an idea, we exchanged ideas and now we both have two ideas!!!

The engine looks at home in there. And I like the way LP670Mike thinks! Supercharger or maybe some compound turbos? Mmmmm hmmm

Yes I agree, he has some expensive thoughts LOL!

I bought a  couple of Porsche Boxster-996 radiator fans for my Honda radiators and they fit perfect. I think this will make it look more OEM for someone peeking through the rear bumper grilles. Thanks to Texas for giving me the measurements from his own fans! ::thumbup

Did you give any thought to the PES supercharger kit? Bolts on and comes with everything. That's what I was leaning towards for my build.

Got the engine and trans out today with the hopes of getting it mounted tomorrow but one of my engine mounts was busted.   :(

Awesome! the oil coiler/trans coiler looks great ::thumbup

Thanks Mike!

George and Don; thank you both for your help.  I went to the metal supply today after work and found the hex shaped material there.  I bought a sheet of it which should be enough to do both rockers and the batwing scoops.

Autopro;

If your local metal shop doesn't have any (most don't as the stuff is so flimsy and hard to store), then order from Mcnicol's.  I ordered a few 4x4 sheets and it was sent to my door within a 2 days and no duties across the border into Canada so that was even better than normal.  I was very happy with the Mcnicol's service.

Also, be careful on how much coverage yo end up with on your perforated metal.  The round holes tend to provide a lot less air flow so there may not be enough to properly cool the oil so be careful.  The hex gives around 75-80% perforation to size so pretty good flow. Some of the round hole sets are way down in the 40-50% openings.

Car is looking great as well btw.

Cheers
Don

You're welcome ! I like the hex too but not sure it will provide the needed rock protection . For this area I would probably choose the small round perforations

Oh I like the Hexagonal Hole material, I'm going to go check out my metal supply that is local to me to see if they have it.  Thanks George!  ::thumbup
