1. I bought some tubing at the local hobby store to use as a bushing to try and eliminate wear on the holes of the handle where the screw runs through.

2. Cut it to the width of the handle.

Post by: autopro on October 12, 2015, 10:40:20 PM: 3. Drill the holes in the handle just large enough so the tube will fit snuggly inside. See the picture of the screws I'm using, these and the tube have no play at all.

4. Place your spring and slide the tube bushing inside the handle. (I didn't show this because since it's a tight fit it would have been difficult for me to remove afterwards.

I found, what I think, a lock cylinder w/Key that should (with a certain amount of mod) be close to what you are looking for. It already has the arm and connector ball stud on it. Lambo wants a vin and $450+. I couldn't find a close up pic of the actual part. ::scratch

Joe, sorry I had been gone for a while but on my door handles I used the lock cylinders from the 2000 VW Passat that I have. They fit right into the door handle bucket but I did have to modify the arm at the bottom.
