Title: window run channel?
Post by: Tallon on March 17, 2023, 02:14:43 PM
What are others using to make the glass run channel? Is there a specific size tubing or channel that works best? Felt or rubber lining? Preferably something that can be shaped and welded in place I would think. I don't know how a lot of the universal stuff on the market works. I'm just using lexan windows, btw.

Thanks

For my Aventador, I am using oem door glass and oem front rails. But the regulator and rear track are from a Grand Prix. Unfortunately I had to do some major modifications to the regulators.... but the curvature of the Grand Prix parts is identical to the oem Aventador glass.

Thank you sir, was that something like 3/4 tubing or u-channel that is 18 gauge?? Everything i can find is too wide or alminum.
I see where you attached window sweeps is there no need for felt in the tracks themselves? Maybe I can't see it
