i could see the chassis above ,made of smaller tubing with cnc sheet metal plates added over the tubing ,similar to the rear sides,B-post,dash hoop, front upper suspension cage area & roof ,all large cnc pieces of sheet metal,this process could possibly make a lighter chassis.

I agree with all of you but it was so far outside of the box that I wanted to learn more about it. Apparently that will not happen, or maybe we have already seen all there is to know about it.

My body panels are organic, 3D printed in corn plastic (aka PLA), then covered in carbon fiber.  Would never trust my life to this process, but fine for body panels. ::tongue
