Title: Diablo 6.0 on Acura NSX
Post by: nautoncall on October 24, 2013, 07:23:50 PM
Hey guys, has anyone ever seen a build on an NSX?  Not bad I don't think.  I'm in the process of working out a lot of the kinks.  Suspension sux ( we are probably adding coilovers) and needs new tires.  Also, I got it home and remote doors are not working now so chasing wires.  Relay is clicking and engine cover and trunk opening, but doors are not.  I am new to all this so excuse my ignorance.  Thanks.

Yea, maybe one of these days I'll build the motor and add Twin Turbos to have real Diablo numbers.

I just wonder who built it?  I have lots of questions.

That's one of my favorite cars.  Gonna make a nice ride, but I hate to hear of an NSX being sacrificed.  They are a beautiful car in their own right.

It might have had some body damage and been an excellent candidate to put a kit body on it

Yes, I have been on the NSX forum and heard how everyone says what a waste to mess up such a great car.  Well, I didn't mess it up.  Don't know who built it.  I wish I knew just to ask questions.  I really was interested in it because there are tons of aftermarkets mods I can do.  Not that much trouble to build the motor and add twin turbos.  That's on my wish list.  We are adding coilovers to the rear now.  We just redid the exhaust yesterday.  I'll post a link.

New exhaust.  Tips need aligned!!  Also, I know...whoever built the car didn't seem to look where the emblems were supposed to be.

The NSX is a nice car but I think the Diablo body was an improvement.  :)

Not too many NSX's will turn your head but catching a rare  glimpse of a Lambo will certainly turn your head every time.

NSX guys 0 - Lambo replica guys 1

Thanks for sharing

I emailed Mike, and he did in fact build it.  Thank you so much.  Hopefully I can get some pictures of the build.

Hey, since the emblems are on the wrong side, think it will take the paint off to remove them from the grill and swap to correct position?
