Another newbie question. I've got a Fiero based Diablo, with a manual 5 speed transaxle, I believe an IFG? The shifting is very tough and vague. I'm guessing it's bushings in the linkage, or something, but I figured someone here might be able to tell me how I might resolve this, and how to get to the linkage?
Thanks in advance guys.

don"t you love it now, welcome to Kit Car hobby ,
if you remove the LH rear rim/tire and if it has inner splash shield cant you get in to see the cables ? and can you expose da shifter . dont take my advice I know nothing about ,Just guessing
btw if you have Isuzu 5 speed = good tranny besides gertrag

Is it the stock Fiero motor and transmission or did did IFG do a horizontal set V8 motor and use a Porsche 914 5 speed. If its the Porsche 5 speed I might be able to help you look for a couple areas where it might be hanging up.

It appears to be the stock Fiero V-6 & Transaxle, but I don't really know. I've looked for a number, or tags on the Trans, but don't see any yet. Considering this car was supposedly built in 2011, it's unbelievable how dirty and poorly maintained it is.
Is there any way I might determine if it's an Isuzu Trans? And just curious, what is "Gertrag??
