Title: Proportioning valve
Post by: norcaldiablo on April 07, 2013, 05:55:40 PM
I am ready to start on my brakes.

I have 13" rotors on all corners.

What proportioning valve are you using for your setups?

I have power brakes and a custom chassis (not Fiero).

Also, what size lines to the front and rear brakes?

Any special tricks?

Thanks

I used a wilwood proportioning valve with 13" brakes

An adjustable proportioning valve will be needed in the rear line.  3/16 brake line should be fine.  Sometimes I run 1/4 back from the master cylinder to a T where the line splits to the each side for the rear brakes.  I use 3/16 from the T to each wheel.
