Title: Still building my Diablo
Post by: kenberghini on April 19, 2013, 02:49:42 AM
I listed my kit for sale on this forum and Kit central. Not pushing it to hard though. Even though, I am still building on it. Building window tracks for it. Tried the thunderbird track but the flange was to thick and I messed it up trimming it down. Since the glass I had broke I am rebuilding the frames to fit the AGP glass I bought. Then I will have to work on making the frame fit the door. Was wondering if anyone has worked on the old IFG phantom door hinges. The ones that have a "S" bend in them. They look like they will hit the front tires. I'm thinking of totally redoing them, any ideas?

  Thanks, Ken

Ken, try the "Doors" area in "How to Tips".  Lots of hinge ideas there.

Hey Ken....

Looking through your build pic you have an awesome build going. Keep it up and I am sure you will be driving it soon. I have an IFG Diablo 60 (IFG's show car). I am redoing bunch on it to make it look more OEM rather than a replica look (changing out the side marker lights the interior among other stuff). Don't get me wrong it is an awesome build but I like details
Just my humble opinion…... don't put those cheesy corvette rear lights on it. The OEM rear lights are not that expansive much cheaper and will save you lots of frustration later on.
I bought out the remaining IFG inventory so if you need anything I probably have it.
I am in Central Ohio so if you need to check out how my was built you are welcome to, just shoot me an email
