Maybe it was all just a big Acid test to see how reactive or pro-active a forum would be in the event that something was stolen... and in fact the end result is collectively all the weak points have been observed thus allowing anyone who is intending on repeating this type of crime will be aware of "what not to do"  and where the first places everyone is going to look....
 pretty sure the "next one" wont be found as easily....  just saying... ::police

Actually,  what was the end result here?  did someone get a reward? was it all settled offline?
or is it still pending?
I would hate to think after all the effort was put into the search that resulted in finding the vehicle that it just all went away...

Glad everything ended on a good note. Glad the thief is behind bars again where he belongs. Hopefully he'll be there longer this time to contemplate some of his life decisions. Happy New Year!!

Thanks again to everybody. Sorry been busy dealing with all this and fixing my car. Luckily there wasn't much damage, just a cracked windshield and they actually fixed an issue I had with the alarm lol I still can't release  much info, but the guy is in custody and off the streets! Turns out he was just in prison not long ago, and has been doing this to a lot of people. I'm still in shock I got it back. But thanks to all you guys. Even the ones who were negative towards me. :)
