Some interior progress pictures.  It has been taking a lot longer than I expected to get this interior fitted, but it's finally coming together.



This is the inside structure and the hole for the clips to mount the pieces.

I have pictures of the original pieces showing the mounting points and the clips that they used.  I will be replicating the same mounting system for mine.  I also can't wait to see it complete, the interior is taking a long time and it's very tedious to put together.

No worries, all this information is excellent and it's a good way to keep track of it.  If I had not made connectors for them already I would surely have picked these up.

Sorry Autopro, don't mean to hijack your thread, but for anyone interested, the correct connector for the door lock actuators lambo_sam refers to can be found at repairconnectors.com under Miscellaneous Repair Connectors -- General Motors.  They are listed as GM Window Lift Connector 79 and up.  However, these are also used on some door lock actuators.  The GM part number is 12101914 and the AC Delco part number is PT186.  You can also find these on ebay.

I feel your pain on panel fitment.  With the 3D prints, i do fitting with a heat gun and a utility knife!

diablodoc, just like Sam said, making a connector is pretty easy. 

Now back to the build, I have been working on the interior and trying to fit everything has been a challenge.  When I first molded all of these pieces from an OEM car they all had the leather on them.  Needless to say, these pieces are far from perfect because of that and making them fit correctly has been difficult.  Anyways eventually they will be done and upholstered.

These carbon fiber pieces where made by Jose "lambocars" and they are amazing, he gave them to me as a present when I met him a couple of years back in Barcelona



These are all the pieces for the top pillars and the headliner installed.  Still have a lot of fitting and trimming before it is finished but its starting to take shape.





Here I cut some 1/4" marine grade plywood for the upholstery behind the seats that hides the firewall.

What you can do is solder a oem male or female connector that has two wires (2 to 3 inches long) on to the prongs, and then it will be connectable with the opposite mate.

Sam -- where did you find a female connector that would fit the door lock actuators you suggested?  The male connector on the actuator doesn't appear to be OEM.  None of the OEM connectors I've been able to find will fit.

I would encourage all of you builders out there to do the same, don't go cheap on your internal door parts by using something universal, Use real production car parts i.e GM, Ford, etc...

Oh and Sam, here are a couple of pics of the new door lock actuators installed.  I must admit that you where 100% correct, these units are much better build quality and the action is much nicer.

Dale you know it, it's pretty exciting to get to this point in the build.  Besides I really can't wait  to take it out and drive it around to enjoy it finally.  Today I started working on the interior but it looks like it will take a while to complete.  If I finish by the end of the year I would be extremely happy.  Thanks for your support Dale
