I'm so jealous right now, lol.  I'd stick with silver and black, it's going to look amazing.

Even multi-colored, it's a beautiful car! You must be thrilled to get to drive it.   :)  Makes me want to hurry up and get the panels installed on my Aventador build.

Thanks Jay  ::beers

Well I finally got the car all pit back together, there is some adjustment that needs to happen but it's very minor at this point.  I just couldn't resist to take it out for a drive and some pictures.  I'm pretty excited to get to this point but now I have to do more work to the doors  ::duh and get the windows in.

Here is a little video of the car running and driving finally.   I took it up and down the streets in my neighborhood and I sure got some funny looks  ::rocker

https://youtu.be/_azJQE2I8g0

My friend Carlos replicated the engine lid hinges from the OEM ones, he had them laser cut and then bent.  My lid would always rub on the 3rd brake light roof panel with the other hinges I had made, but now with these it clears just fine when you open it.

So been working on finalizing my engine lid hinges and making sure my roof is in the position it needs to be before I bond it. Today I worked on the emergency brake brackets because I want to make sure they are functional before I take it out on the street for a test drive  ::stop

Daaang autopro! Just have some panel fitting and bodywork left now.  ::headbang

Buddy I'm super excited now, I will start bonding my roof this weekend to start.  Most everything is done is just the final hanging and bonding before starting the body work.  Thanks Jay!  ::beers

Huge milestone. Congrats.

Thanks Dale I really appreciate it especially coming from an experienced builder as yourself   :notworthy  It is a huge milestone for me, now I feel like the rest of the work left should be much easier.  Like they say, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
