If you are sanding, you might want to remove all the rear black pieces that way
they won't get all messy with water drippings and sand particles and ruining the finish.

Not to worry my friend all of those parts were removed before I started color sanding and polishing.  I am happy to report that I have finished all the polishing and now I am just finishing detailing and painting small parts.  I am also cleaning up and touching up the chassis before I start putting the car all back together.

I worked on painting my headlights and assembling them, below is a picture although I have not sealed them up yet, I really can't wait to get these on as the front end will look complete once I do.  Here are the pics of this weeks progress  ::wave

Door handles finished and assembled.

Area for the batwings got a coat of matte black, also the inside of the engine compartment.

Front bumper, spoiler and grills are on.  Just waiting to finish the headlights to put them back in.

Holy shizzle!! So Sick!!!!
Ok Pedro, now you need to hold of posting new pics and have a Big unveiling party!!...lol
Btw, Did you color sand it already?

Thank you so much Sam.  I am soooo sorry that I missed your unveiling party and if I do throw one it probably won't be as good as I heard yours was.

I started color sanding it last night, I started on a fender which was an easy part.  I only did 1000 grit though, I will follow it up with the 1500 and 2000 next.  We'll see how far I get this weekend.  ::toothy

Hey it's cool bro, what ever you decide to do I'm sure it will be awesome!

Sweet, thank you!  Yes the booth really did it's job better than expected.  I had to add an exhaust fan so it would pull out more of the overspray.  Once I did that it worked very well and I am super happy with the results.  Thanks again  ::thumbup

Pictures of progress from this week.  Goal is to finish painting everything by the end of the week since I only have a few pieces left and then start color sanding next week.

Last night I sprayed on the black basecoat for some parts and when I get home from work today I will throw on the matte clear coat.
