I got the Rodney Dickman poly mounts and the FerioRog 3800 engine and trans mounts in and mounted to the cradle!  Nice products from both!!

I'm really liking the Lizard Skin, it so easy to use!!! Final application of the ceramic heat shield at 4am this morning :)  The firewall has a real solid sound to it now.  Just have to top coat the product once it has cured.

Made some sheet metal pieces for the stretch area and sprayed the fire wall with Lizard Skin - sound.  I really like this product, so much easier than dyna matt or an equivalent product.  Will spray the Lizard Skin Heat shield tonight.

Cleaned up some of the engine components.  Used boiling water bath then aluminum de-greaser, followed up by dawn.  Like the transmission, I soda blast them, then metal prep then paint.  Obviously the gasket surfaces and or critical areas are protected from blasting.

Amazing! What did you use to clean the transaxel?

Thanks!! A special concoction, not approved by the EPA or for use in CA!  :) ::angel

Please tell us - a lot of us are struggling with how to get our transmissions cleaned up and it looks like you found a way.

Thanks

lots of caked on oil and oxidized aluminum.  Seals were replaced, filter and pan gasket and a new torque converter.

Engine and trans separated and crank nut off!!
will replace, water, oil pump, alternator, ac compressor, oil pan, crank and various other gaskets. Upgrade headers to pace setter ceramics, smaller pulley, thermostat, plugs and pcm upgrade.

Yep, if anyone is using the newer LT version, make sure you tell Eric at AE Auto this if he is making your adapter plate so he can pocket for the external balance weight. The one piece rear oil seal alone is worth the updated style.
