This was posted over on MM so I thought i'd share. Looks pretty good. I'd like to see what the tailights look like illuminated.

Best thing I've seen from him. Thinking he got a LHD center console now?
I am wondering why it looks so high though, no room for where the seat belts should go in  ::scratch

Might be the best Venton replica yet.  It's not perfect but it really captures the overall look IMO.
Also, you can tell Rob is getting much better at the doors and details even without needing a hinged trunk.

Once the seats are in it will look more proportional and I think there is plenty of room for the belts.
The real Reventon looks a little "fat" or tall in the back like this IMO.
The newer cars, Aventador and Sesto Elemento for example by design are better at hiding this but there does have to be room for people to sit.

I'll betcha I have watched this vid 20 times now....

::scratch Looks to me like the console cover goes all the way up to the engine hatch. Hard to see what's going on though with what's given.

Correct me if I am wrong. Do you need to carry a screw driver to open the deck lids on this car? You can see 4 screws holding each deck lid on in the two videos posted here.
What is the plan for door seals?

Good point, longer vid with a running car would be nice.

No
You can't compare a real Murci with a body kit to a Fiero kit car. Katana's car is amazing but it's a real Lamborghini.
Rob's are scratch built kit cars.
Don't forget, the name of the site is Lamboclone, not Lamborghini.

Katana sold reventon bodies
if they're real rev bodies then he's practically giving them away lol

A longer vid would show more details don't you think? Not sure why you're so defensive unless you were...

ummm, yes you can compare a real murcie with a rebody to a fiero.  If the kit hasn't been executed properly that you have just wasted a poopie load of money for nothing.  If you throw on eddies raven kit on a real murcie, your real murcie will look like a crappy replica but yet its a real lamborghini.  It doesn't matter what you use, your still using a donor base to build whatever it is that you are trying to replicate.

I'm guessing you haven't seen the porsche reventon build from him either.

Not even close.
When you put body panels on any car it's called bodywork. Your not building a car from scratch. Your not making from nothing the doors or the dash for example. Your just taking off old parts and bolting on new ones.   Bravo to Katana for making the parts but it's not a kit car.

How could anyone argue with that?

The last thing I saw of the Porsche it was a bare body sitting in the corner.

Stay on topic please.  The last thread I started blew up into another political  hate fest.

Rob is building the cars. One looks like it's almost done. It doesn't look exactly perfect but I think it would be pretty cool driving it around.

That's all

What I'm interested in is robs aventador

The reventon still looks like a kit car than a real lambo
The reventon looks too much like an Eddie kit with the panel gaps fixed (which is all it is )

His KITCAR looks the way it does because of his bodies. That's why Katana's are better. You can't even see the chassis so what's the point in arguing about that?

It's not a competition guys, it's a matter of personal opinion and preference.

What someone has to spend on a project also has a huge impact on the quality and difference's from OEM that they will tolerate or will not tolerate.

Is he really selling this for $15,000....
Lamborghini Replica for sale $15,000 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJ3w3dZeidw#)

He doesn't say that's the one for sale , probably one of his other cars is $15000

The only way I would do business with him is in person to see exactly what you're buying and take possession when you hand over the money
