Yea, Not looking to fab, source or buy Lambo OEM. Buying OEM knda defeats the purpose of building a "Replica" at least to me. So who out there has a complete kit, interior, glass and lighting available? OR AT LEAST one that has been fitted with donor glass?

Thats what I thought. I love the body lines of the aventador but I refuse to go through the pain of trial and error to get good fit and finish.

Oh I know. I don't mind work. I don't want to spend 6+k on something that NOT only do I have to do thousands of hours of body work on but I gotta find glass and lighting options on my own. If your going to produce a kit make sure you offer the availability of items to finish. Or at least a working idea for glass.

Yes, glass often seems to be an after-thought when it shouldn't be. It is something I have mentioned before too.

It's taking until just now for us to obtain certain oem parts for our murcie builds, shall we wait several more years for aventador parts and a website based on people that are together building the same car? :\
I don't think buying oem parts is pointless, it's a must for a lot of things that no one is ever going to copy and even to copy it one must buy the oem part or attempt to mould it yourself. they never come with everything you need, they aren't actual "kits". We still have to buy oem lp640 lighting, grills, locate hinges and all the things needed to complete the car. Without many other people building the same car with you, you have no choice but to do the research on your own. and A LOT of it. If you're the first to build a new car this is probably what you have to deal with.
The idea of aventador replicas seem to be moving forward much faster than the murcie did when it was a "new model" people had to settle with the g24 and even uglier versions. I can't imagine that.

You can bet there will be several Aventador builds here in the next few years. I hope to have one myself. I guess we'll see how much of a debacle this first effort is. ;)

A. windshield is 1996 Honda accord 2 door coupe it will fit our kit because it was designed to make it fit, and if you are building another aventador kit that does not means a windshield it will fit in it. windshield is $105 New
Door glass is from a 1990 Saturn 2 door coupe.
Finally someone who is using OEM glass in their design! ::beers

Inspire may not know what windshield but Venta has no tray for the Honda glass to fit into. I have been there to inspect it personally and took my fiberglass and paint guy with me. He quoted me $16,000 to prep the body for paint (no assembly, no paint, just bondo). Sadly, after seeing it myself, that is about the figure that I would have expected.

So wait is the inspire composite car in Chicago for 5400$ on eBay a scam???? That would explain his lack of any questions I had mainly about glass and here I was thinking I was the only person who has that as the main issue.

The lip that the windshield sits on. It is not there. The body just quits. I will be glad to help but I cannot draw a detail of what is not there. I can only assume that the Honda windshield is the correct shape but the body panels were not located well enough to define a windshield perimeter. I checked what had to pass as a body buck for squareness and symmetry and it was not close.

That kind of brings us back to exactly where we left the previous thread about an Aventador body. Does anybody know how to contact him? Never mind that he may not reply, how do I find him to begin with? I would like to see one of his bodies and have a shop in Mexico City that I spend time at. What is his address in Mexico? If not, who has a body in the U.S. that I can look at? Or for that matter who has a body anywhere that I can look at?

Does it seem odd to anyone else that he can show us a complete car, chassis and all, but not be able to show us a body kit with even door jambs? Same question as before, has anyone actually purchased one of these kits? Whether he can be contacted or not, does he have a buildable kit and is it available? How does anybody know?

He has been around for decades though , he made a Ferrari f50 and Bugatti eb110 back in the 1990s, when he was just a teenager . He put them up on eBay a year or so ago

I have seen the youtube and if you mean by all of the parts a body shell, glass cut from another car, and some cnc plastic parts, you are right. But watching the video carefully, the doors and decks are not cut, it is just a shell sitting on 2x4's. Look closely and you will see the 2x4's as well as daylight from the rear fenderwells through the windshield where the interior should be. You can also see the same through the rear deck to the rear fendrwells where the engine should be. I would have no problem going to see this, as I did with Venta, as I too am in the market for an Aventador body kit, but a shell sitting on boards is not my idea of a fantastic build that he has been praised for. It is not my idea of a build at all. And a body shell is not my idea of a body kit. Until I know that there is something there that I might be interested in, or until someone has actually seen one, I think I have answered my own question.
