Title: Engine year and model type?
Post by: Ccemn1 on August 14, 2017, 08:10:15 PM
Newbie here. I just bought a Fiero based Lambo Diablo. It's listed on the Florida title as a 2011 ASVE.
My questions are, does anyone who this maker was, and how can I tell the year and type of Fiero V-6 in it?
Thanks in advance,

If its a stock engine, there is only one type of V6 that was used in the Fiero's, a multi port fuel injected 2.8L. The same GT engines were a little stronger, but only about 15 more HP. Some Fiero's came with a 4 cyl.

Thank you very much.
Anyone ever heard of this 2011 ASVE? It's a very accurate Diablo replica, and I'm wondering if the state of Florida just made this up for the title, or if it was an anagram for an actual a company that produced Lambo replicas?

An ASVE designation stands for Assembled Vehicle. At lease in Texas when you register a replica, they assign a VIN number.
