Title: Is "Dreams For Less Auto" a scam or legit?
Post by: lamborghinimurci on April 21, 2013, 07:29:22 PM
Hi, i have a lp640 replica that I am selling and Ian at DREAMSFORLESSAUTO.MOONFRUIT.COM has been trying to consign my car. He calls from a few New York phone numbers. I cant find any info on this guy on the internet. With how much he calls me, I'm sure he has spoke to allot of members on this forum. Can anyone let me know any good or bad experiences with this guy? Or if its just one of the many scams. Thanks in advanced.  ::toothy

Why co-sign, try listing it here and on MadMechanics.com first (no fees and these sites are frequented by people looking for replicas).

The rules are simple, pictures plus price with contact information.

Glad you asked that question. I was contacted by him recently when I inquired about a build. Have not seen any of his work though. The pics on his site are from cars I have seen on eBay or YouTube. Hope someone has an answer.

The the black lp640 that was on ebay. I am in the process of totally redoing the car. It will have factory Hermera wheels, galardo steering wheel, and replica gauges with new pod. I am also having the entire subframe boxed in with tubular space frame. The entire body is going to be board sanded to get waves out and repainted a more forgiving color, like balloon white, or lambo yellow. It will be several weeks before its done but I may post pics and new price then. Thanks for asking.  :)

It will look very nice! Your asking price was decent even in the condition it was in. There is no way I would build a car that looks half way decent for for under $25k. Way to much work... Did you build it? Can you post some pictures up so we can see more of it?
