Has anyone heard of mounting the turbo intercooler in the OEM position of the radiators? I'll be mounting the rad up front.

Robert,

I would suggest running duct from one of the bat wings to the IC. The Intercooler is just as important as the Radiator. When you compress air, it heats up, alot! It needs cooled before getting into the combustion chamber to help avoid pre ignition. I am planning on running a rotary tuboed setup in my build, and am looking at different setups on my chassis to mount my IC. I am not running dual fuel tanks on my chassis, so I am considering putting it there and ducting in air from side vent or bat wing.
