Well I finally made some headway. I found a tablet that fits the opening of the shark mouth for the Murci fairly close, it was the 7" 2013 Nexus 7, ordered the cheap bluetooth reader off eBay, and installed the TorquePro App and this is what I have.

I ordered the 2013 nexus vs the 2012 nexus, because the 2013 has a magnet in the back that attaches to a wireless charger (available from google https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_Wireless_Charger?id=nexus_wireless_charger&hl=en) so this way all I have to do is set it in the shark mouth and the charger/magnet will hold it in place and I can always pull it out if needed.

Sweet. The torque app seems to be popular. I am still trying to find an app with best, coolest gauges.  ::thumbup

Ok, so my bluetooth ODB2 reader came in and works GREAT with a android phone or android tablet. The bluetooth ODB2 reader does NOT work with apple devices for some reason the bluetooth on the iPhone or iPad does not find the Bluetooth. So with that being said depending on what device you are using you will need the WiFi ODB2 reader if you are using Apple devices and the Bluetooth or WiFi for android devices. Here are a couple screen shots from my phone.

I plan on going with a android tablet for my gauges, especially since you can find them in a wide variety of sizes and they are hundreds cheaper then Apple products.

So I went ahead and ordered one of these bluetooth ODBII ELM327 scan tools. I figured for $15 bucks including the app couldnt go wrong until I can get my analog gauges going. I will update soon as it comes in and I have a chance to test it. This is also capatable with Apple products not just Android

If you have an Apple device, I would be interested in feedback on how you like this unit.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

I'm wanting to put a tablet in the center of the dash in place of the radio.  The LCD display that I had on my radio for the back up camera was impossible to see in the direct sunlight of my roadster.  My 10" iPad is too big to fit there.  I've found sunlight readable touch displays and I think that I would need a car PC to do everything that I want.  I'll just wait until I can find a system that is designed for a car.  I want to be able to read my gauges, control the radio and heater, and have a back up camera that I can read.

Z-Car Cockpit LCD dashboard project (basic functions)

This is maybe a solution for older cars like fiero.
More info you can find here: http://www.zcarcockpit.fr/EN_index.html

You have to use a modern power train for obd2

So no fiero or mr2 engines

Maybe a later 3800sc or ls4
