Cause these come on your everyday driver type vehicles! Not many want to hear a supercharger all the way to work! I for one don't mind!  ;)

The headers look great, also love the valve covers. "supercharger silencer holes"!?!? Why would they do such a thing? :LL:

I also decided why it was apart I needed more cowbell! I mean Supercharger Whine!!!  ::bounce so I decided to block off the supercharger silencer holes! I've literally git this thing so close to running again I can taste it! I'm currently waiting on a gasket and upgraded spring to raise the oil pressure from about 55- 90 ish, then a manual prime to make sure my oil pressure is good and I'm golden!!! Getting impatient/excited!

Apparently letting it sit as long as I did was not the best of ideas! I tore down the top half and 6 of 12 lifters were a bit spongy so I took them apart and pumped them up manually! I also was more than glad I did this cause I noticed my gasket had failed and was leaking coolant back into the engine! Rumer has it it's a fairly common issue with these and a dab of JB Weld and 2 dimes is the perfect remedy!  ;)

Got my exhaust completely assembled but once started was not pleased as there was some ticking which sounded like a lifter problem!

Thanks for the complements auto! It's not the greatest but it sure hides my crummy welds lol! 76, wish I had that offer before buying the one I got as I gave closer to $400 if I remember correctly! I'm hoping the factory exhaust tubes will come out in the correct location as I don't have a set yet!

Cory, do you need a Murcie muffler? I have a very gently used one, $200 for you.

So you have all the pipes ready to plumb your muffler now?  The wrap looks very nice and neat, I can see you know what you are doing.  I've seen some bad wrap jobs and it makes the whole system look terrible.  Yours is very nice and neat ::thumbup

Spent the past week getting my car running again after 10+ months of sitting idle, buttoning up some loose ends to get it running 100% before I move forward! Thing is loud and obnoxious so I figured I'd finish welding and sealing up my exhaust! Got it all header wrapped and ready to go back in! Very interested in hearing the Murci muffler hooked to this thing, still need to tighten up my rockers and check a couple other minor things to get her running smooth!!!  ::wave

Just a question, but why didn't you use the 670 style throttlebodies instead of the older Murcielago ones? I know you had an OEM TB you molded yours from, but the actual SV style are available on Ebay for about $45 each. I'm making an updated engine cover myself, and am using the real throttle bodies on it. I like my old cover, but noticed after 8 years of engine heat the plastic cast TB's are starting to crack in different places, and the paint is chipping off as well. Using real TB's should eliminate that problem, plus there is no chance that it could ever look like a fake cover with the real TB's. Just a question :)

I guess I was unaware of the real throttle bodies being available so cheap, I've got 3 Murci ones I've had for awhile and since I couldn't find another at a price I was willing to pay I just made one! Same for the plenum, no way was I gonna buy another, plus I can hang a set on my wall now!  ::wave as far as the look I'm not sure anyone, unless they know the exact differences between a 670 and 640, will have a clue they should be any different.
