Diablo Roadster door hinge adjustment

I'm getting close to finishing fabrication and rough fit installation my first door hinge.        Woo-hoo!  I'm thinking about installing a jack screw that would allow me to make fine adjustments without losing my place when I start final fit-up.  Has anyone tried this before?
