No matter what you drive, real of replica or original design, somebody somewhere will hate on it.
If you like what you see when you look in the driveway THAT is all that matters!
Never forget to appreciate your haters, it means they noticed,and if you do ANYTHING that draws attention they will show up, personally I enjoy myself when they come out, ya gotta love that they are spending that energy on your behalf. ::headbang

hi Jonny, Yep there are many haters on the real forums, but I have also found an equal number of guys that will help with measurements and detailed pictures, when they are restoring their real cars, they will not admit it on the forums but some of them don't have a lot of time for the real owners also, and some of them do respect us replica builders for having the skills we have, they just don't admit it openly. I think most of the serious haters don't want the value of their cars to be lost by rubbish replica builders, because joe public usually can't tell the difference when its a good replica build. I have seen some real rubbish replicas for sale and here is two  that have appeared on our local Auction site in nz this week, I think the seller should be paying $3k and 4.8k for someone to take this rubbish for scrap, even I would not be paying either 3k or 4.8k for this rubbish. http://www.trademe.co.nz/a.aspx?id=955636714 and http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/specialist-cars/other/auction-954065427.htm
The red body with square tube chassis shown but not available, a friend bought that 12 months ago, and I know the company that built those in the 1990's and it was a very good quality build, from the factory and the body was pretty close to the real thing, but it definitely did not come with a Corvette suspension when it left their factory
