I thought someone might know the differences from having both model grills to compare, like you said ( to hard from a photo )
I'm not one to expecting a easy answer, but its worth asking, I will buy a gallardo grill and find out, I am not too bad at hacking up parts too, so I am confident

Don't see too many people building gallardos and even then they'd need to have experience handling the parts for both cars
There's no telling by looking at pics :/ They could be completely different in dimension and won't look so clean after hacking it up or worse adding on to it

First photos are the gallardo grills

The lp640 are the last two, but the grill is upside down
It looks like a different shape, but the top line isn't as long on the Murcie
As the gallardo, it might be able to be cut on the same angle as the Murcie one, on the side closest to the centre.
it's no massive $$ saving but they can turn up cheap sometimes

How close are the gallardo front grills to the lp640 ones? I can't see a lot of difference
