These pictures are great eddie, I'm almost to this point so they will help a lot!

I found one more picture  this is on my car

OH yeah one more thing the steering wheel is bit tilt to the left, the shaft is not 90* from firewall.

Do you have the dash , seats yet?  The wheel is about 32" from the rear firewall (taken from memory)

 I have Alfa Romeo column and shafts mate to GM flex joint , but NAERC using Sunfire /Cav column ,but brk are very similar
