I couldn't agree more. So you're suggesting that I bolt  them down first then cut them?

If you do this you will have a more OEM looking body at the end and in my opinion that much nicer.  I would recommend you mount your body and then make all the separate mounting points for the fenders and rockers that way when you do cut them loose from the rest of the body they will be easier to line up.  Shouldn't be difficult, it will just take more time.

I totally agree about this hobby taking a lot of energy. Among other things. But I think it may be worth it in the end. After all. The doors ,front trunk, rear trunk, deck lid, front bumper , rear bumper are all, by nature  detachable . So by making the 2 fenders and 2 rocker panels detachable, I think is worth it. That would give about 85% full access/replacement,need be. But thank you for ur opinion.. Anyone else??
