Looks like I missed a fun time again this year.  One of these days, moving up to the Carlisle area, hopefully with a finished car.  Still plugging away though...   :CSS

88: For me, getting to the "Show" and back home safely, rates pretty much up the scale.  Bringing a partially built replica to a show, talking to dozens of tire kickers explaining the how did I make this and why I am crazy to make this my hobby.... Priceless!! ::bounce ::tongue :LL: ::thumbup ::sun :CSS :drool ::headbang ::LAMBO ::LAMBO ::LAMBO

88 my friend, it was a good show? I have a Rule of Thumb about car shows. If you take the number of cars at the show that I am interested in seeing, then multiply that number by ten, that final number must be higher than the number of dollars that it took for parking and admission. Do you also think that Danica Patrick is a good racecar driver?

it's every June in Georgetown, read it here well organized by group of cars and yes KitCars have their own section. when I was there with bunch of real Lambo wanna be ,they put us in exotics not kit cars , they thought they were real and we did not have to pay admision LOL. ( we put 10 each anyway) that was 8 years ago,

Thanks I'll remember that one now. I haven't been able to make it out due to a conflict. However I might be able to make it this year.

Made it, was good show only a couple exotics and a couple kits.

Rshaef:  See you next year, Bob.
AB:  Who is standing next to you beside your car? ::scratch ::scratch

Guys: Plan on the 2-day (Fri-Sat) for next year.  Maybe we can squeeze out one good day??
Sorry I didn't weather out too good on Saturday and missed meeting more of the forum guys. :'(

Sorry that I missed you, AB :'(  I pulled through the area around 11:30 am but didn't see you there.  There were so many riceburners there and the people didn't mind holding me up by having confabs in the middle of the roads. >:(  Another Carlisle heart burn down.

they should make it in june ,it always rains that time and have a just Kit car show on east side of US , there are tons of kits there. but Carlisle, they know it's a bummer .
we had one here in Toronto back in days lot Cobras, lambos and ferraris etc among the others rods.

The town of Carlisle is in the business of car shows, they have an event there every other weekend for the whole summer. There is no incentive to swap their worst show with another just to give it the better date in June.
