Bonded the metal door frame to the inner door.  Got a new set of tracks as the one from the pick n pull was rusted.

Got everything reinstalled and the new maxima track is waaay better.  Now to work on getting the outer skin to fit correctly.

About 3.25 inches of glass stick up above the door sill

When Murci-Me let me pull a center console from the mold he had, I made a mold to make the  console switch plate.  It took me a while to locate the part  :LL:   yes that is PVA on the part.. :o

Added the Audi switch and replica switch frame.  The wiring, relays, switch and motor all work great!    ::scratch    :LL:

Took the door apart and prepped and painted the frame.  While the paint was drying  sorted out  the Fiero power window wiring and added a couple of relays, worked out nice to be able to use the exisitng wiring  ::toothy

I have spent a lot of time on that work stool lately  ::toothy

Good job on lining up that door, not an easy feat.  Even the door glass on the original Murcielago doesn't roll all the way down, so if yours sticks up it means it's perfect!

Thanks Autopro!  biggest problem Im facing right now is finding the time, work looks to be pretty intense through the end of June. With Saturday afternoons being the only free time I have for the REDO.

Liking the way your build is coming out !!

Had a ballast or transformer go out in a florescent light over the REDO. The LED replacement is super bright!!!

Did some trimming on the outer door skin, it is pretty flush with the body.

Going to dyna glass and fiberglass the metal frame to the inner door, then reinstall the power window system.  Ive been plyaing around with the door handle and thinking about how it will function with the W126 latch.

Nice work.  ::thumbup  I am about to embark on my window tracks.  Is your glass suppose to be 2.5" from the sill?

Thanks FC!

The REDO originally came with Saturn Glass which really suxed!!  I think it was 8 inches up above the sill when fully retracted (see picture below).  Was looking around for side glass and found the Murci-Me's G28 glass could not be purchased and started a thread.

Aftermarket source for oem size window glass      http://lamboclone.com/index.php?topic=3511.0

Long story short went with OEM glass.

Starting over with a working window track.....  for Way less coin!!

Modified the track, and used the original holder for the glass that came with the car.

When fully retracted about 2.5 inches stick up above the door.

Still have to make a mount for the motor.

But pretty happy how it came out.

So I spent a lot of time making brackets and installing the track system that is sold by Jose from Spain, I think his user name is lambocars or something like that.

Long story short, The tracks system I received is junk.  I have purchased a few fiberglass parts from him with no problems at all.  Luckily I had a track system that other have used in these cars.  My mistake for not firing up the Jose system earlier.  oh well live and learn
