Front hood is flat as a board! Spent 3 days blocking and primering this guy! Paint came out great

Primered before paint. I'm going with a 2 part satin black urethane and calling it good!

Long overdue update!

Some more paintwork and getting the dash finally cut up! The Duralfex dash was about 3'' too long, I think it was my internal structure that made it a little more narrow in the window area. Cut it up and body working the OEM cluster in it.

Starting to paint parts! The blue looks amazing! Super excited to see this thing in one color. Will be doing a black roof and windshield area to help hide the stubby windshield.

Took her for a spin after installing a steering damper and it rides perfectly straight! Very happy with it. Also working on some molds for the front headlight lenses for the Dura-flex shell. Although my opening will differ because I am using an OEM bumper. If you want a set made, send me a PM

Is Methyl Methacrylate the same thing as 3m 08115, or something better?

You have to get into MMA's! You'll never look back. They are insanely strong and much better then the body panel adhesives from 3M. They are used in chassis building to glue aluminum together, NASA uses it, its huge in Hollywood. It will literally never fail, I trust it more then some welds on aluminum lol

2 full days on the rear deck lid. Glued some 1/4'' aluminum to the glass to drill and tap. Using M8-1.25 helicoils. Used Methyl Methacrylate to glue everything together.

Car is coming along nicely. The body lines, line up nicely! Looks like you are just about ready for paint.

Duuuuuuddde! My favorite color. Great work as always. I'm keeping my nose to the grindstone so when you get tired of it I'll be able to buy it!

Hahaha awesome! Hell at this rate that may be sooner then anticipated!
