After 6.5 months, (when promised 6 weeks)  the final parts needs for my suspension install are out for delivery

Getting a few things ready for when the drop spindles and hubs come in from Arruat.

Took out the booster, will be using new nuts as sometime during the life as a Fiero, the booster was replaced and the nuts reused ... one nut was rounded off... but finally got it off the car with out messing up the stud

Got some stuff powder coated and cut the rear knuckle to accept the Arruat bracket.

The directions from Arruat are pretty straight forward, just hope there are no issues with the parts.

For the seat belt adjusters, I made a bracket to test fit how everything would fit together with my cover.

After a few tries   .... the top of the adjusters need to be 1 inch from the fire wall for it all to work.  I plan on putting a  1 inch, thick walled square tube (15-20" long) at the top and weld it to the fire wall.

For the bottom there is access from the engine side, plan is to use six bolts,  and a piece of steel tube on the engine side.

Fantastic cleanup of the front suspension.  I made a connector support that mounts between the upper coilovers.  Hard to describe but look at the pic.  It mounts from the LH upper shock to the RH upper shock mount area and is bolted and then welded in the front trunk area.

I like that idea!! I was also thinking of putting my battery up there as well, maybe do a double bar for mounting a tray.  Where is your battery located?

Nice to have my Daughter home from college, putting her to good use cleaning the front end before the Arruat suspension is put in

I'm not sure if anybody needs any buttons, but I have few sets as my estimation on resin needed for fiber glassing is in need of improvement!!

trying to wrap up some stuff before the suspension and brake work is started

Bought the round center piece from a member here.  I fashioned the outer portion from foam sanded etc.  Took a few tries

Have it mocked up and looks okay.  I will check with the guy who did a most excellent job on my seats and see if he can cover the outer portion and the center piece less the bull emblem in leather. 

So airbag cover will be broken down into 3 pieces. 

Also need to get an aluminum piece for the air bag as well

While waiting for some fiberglass to set up, drilled out the bat wing hinges, put in a stainless pin.

While grinding I was looking at the piece I made for the interior.

 Some how in the process of building it grew and is to wide

So I took it out and cut it.

Cut some material away, sanded, I like it a bit narrower... maybe be a bit more?

Spent some time grinding welds out,  to take off the bar in the engine compartment for the upper engine mount.  They were located i the wrong spot.

Funny how things take longer than you thought!

opened up the packages from arruat, nicely organized and labeled with a parts list and instruction manual.

Also got the master cylinder. and front and rear brake set up with ebrake.

After the 4th will start installing the rear wide track and brake set up/ engine.  Then measure for axle lengthening, radiator pipe, tranny cooler...etc

long story short here is my rough in of the behind the seat area have a few modifications still to make.  Then make the final parts. Then permanent attachment points.
