Title: Quality Diablo body kits. Who's manufacturing good bodies.
Post by: MDMurcy2 on July 04, 2016, 10:56:44 PM
Hey guys,  looking to begin another project and I'm after a Diablo.  I haven't been on the forums in a long time and I'm sure out of touch.    Who's a reputable maker/supplier of a good kit.  Accurate as possible.  Not certain if I want a roadster or coupe.  Just beginning to do research.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  If you have pic's of the bodies... finished or not....that would be great too.

Thanks.
Mitch

Mitch,

CRP is the only one who actually copied the real Diablo Coup that I know off. Steve is a good person to work with, he can be slow but he always delivers he does get busy. Good quality parts that can be interchanged with OEM...... I have bought thousands of dollars worth of parts from CRP and wouldn't hesitate to buy again, Ron Dolling also builds awesome Diablo replicas he is from Canada but not sure if he has any NAERC cars for sale any more.

Hey Mitch, welcome back.
Do you still have the murci?

Yeah. I have it.  About 95 % completed.  I am in the process of finishing the interior and trim.  I'll update my build soon.

I'm considering options on a new project and am really leaning towards a Countach or Diablo.    I really want a Countach.  Think it would be my number one choice build but I would only settle for an accurate body Countach.  However I'm still on the fence because I really like the look of the Diablo as well.  So...still doing research.

Charley strickland (76mx) makes pretty accurate countach bodies I would message him on here. Very  reliable too.

I still have it. At one point I thought I would sell it but I've gotten very fond of it now and don't think I could sell it. Lol. It's just about complete. I had finished the interior to a certain degree but I didn't like the way some of the things came out. So I've taken it apart again and I'm redoing many of the parts. I'm also taking the time to perfect a few things on the exterior that I didn't like. So although I had it finished for a time, I've going backwards a bit and order to perfect it as much as I can. But sometimes I wonder if I'll ever be happy with it the way it is. I'll be posting pics in my build diary soon. I promise.
