Has anyone used an after market electric vacuum pump as the exclusive vacuum source for their brakes rather than a long hose from the rear of the car?
-
I think it would be pointless since you have a vacuum creator already. The only reason to use an electric pump would be if you were going diesel or electric drive.

1/2" copper or steel tubing with hose fittings on the ends routed through the tunnel. Make sure the the ID of the tubing is the same as your largest line whether on the engine or on the brake booster. I have the Fiero chassis so I used the oem line at my engine but had to reduce to 3/8" ID at the brake booster. ::thumbup Jim

That's what I used , coated steel line between the fire walls and short piece of hose on each side Works for me.

3/8" I.D. hose and 3/8" O.D. tube works perfect for me.

Thank you guys.
