I want this thread to be a collection of OEM interior trim measurements. I know there are lots of measurements scattered through the forum my plan is for them to hopefully find there way here.
Here are a few measurements from my latest parts.
The first 2 pictures are of the CD changer panel (behind the passenger seat) from the Murcielago Roadster.
The second 2 pictures are of the CD changer panel (behind the passenger seat) from the Murcielago Coupe.
And the last 4 pictures are of the Safety Belt trim piece that goes in the Murcielago Coupe between the passenger and driver seat below the rear window.

Here is a link to the OEM Safety Belt slider mechanism and measurements.

Thanks for measuring the rear panel (more narrow than I thought), I have a pic of one installed with the lid open which shows how the profile fits against the centre console.
Also a couple of pics of the centre console - with measurements to add a contribution to the thread. :D

this is total Lamborghini porn.....

No doubt! Congratz man. BTW String, I couldn't post in your dashboard thread because it looks like it is locked but I wanted to say thank you. Those pics are going to be so helpful to me. You are an asset to the community and a darn nice guy to boot. :)

Dying for some of those trim sections!

Dying for some of those trim sections!
Didn't you buy the OE door cards? I can't remember now
-
Tallon has hacked versions of what was once OEMish...
i actually have them and have been bringing them back to life in my spare time, as we both know how much i have of that....
they also had a rather colorful history attached to them but i have stripped pretty much all of what was once lumpy taped versions to what will become new smooth parts. good memory...
do you remember me at all?
-
:\ mainly talking about sill trim, rear interior trim
-
String, that interior and dash was the deal of the century if you need any pictures of pick up points and brackets, i have this bare original frame here, its LHD but you should be able to flip the measurements for the other side.
-
@LA12241... are you making a build with the frame? if you have photos that would be cool... then any measurements if you dont mind helping out, could be asked by circling a section of the image etc.
just my thoughts... :)
-
String,
Would your source have a complete diablo interior?

That is very kind of you - it is just a case of right place / right time :). I think you will find the offer of close up frame pictures would be welcomed by most forum members , and I for one will find the offer an invaluable resource i'm sure. I would start off by asking if a picture of the 'lower dash panels' lower mount brackets - both sides would be available , the upper mounts of these parts bolt to the dash directly and it seem the bottom ends bolt to somewhere near the steering column mount beam.Actually any trim panel mount hole for the push in clips would be helpfull. Thanks in advance , string.
( Looks like a 2005 vintage vin no. in your login name..)
Unfortunately , no , not at this time , they are a just a car dismantling group and it is a case of whatever comes in.
Cheers.

do you have the side mounting brackets, its a while since i stripped mine and most of the brackets at moment are at the platers, i will get some proper pics of bare frame
-
i would like to know the measurement between the "steering mount beam" to the floor frame... just the space between, not including the frame thickness etc. thank you.. :)
-
I do have the dash brackets , they should make it easier to mount.
I see the lower panel mount tabs welded to the steering mount beam , simple really...
Thanks for the pics.
-
interior mounting fittings and tabs, if anyone needs specific measurements let me know, Paul

Wow, rare pics! Very nice. Thank you!
-
Those are some fabulous pictures there Paul , very much much appreciated by myself and I'm sure by many other forum members.
Got a lot of brackets to make - once the weather picks up a bit..
Paul , would you be the fella who was doing a repair to the L/H/R chassis outrigger / oil cooler mount ? ,
::thumbup

I am also interested in seeing that mount area.....
-
more info on quarter window pocket/side of rear window, dimensions don't know if that's possible. Like how thick is the | / shape at the bottom. And of the panels would be nice too
-
for the quarter pocket also the angles and radius would be nice....
i am also looking for the distance between the floor and the cross beam that supports the steering column and dash etc.
-
A couple of modified pics to identify Digibeams dimension request , and one stitched together for my dimension request .
Thanks for any input.
:)
-
YES !! what String said !! thank you for that image :)
-
Ok i will get those measurements, on the subject of the quarter window pocket, it is something that does not come with the bodykit, as i was thinking it may be easier to take a mould from them to do them from fibergass? Any thoughts?
-

Do you have access to the OEM quarter window pocket? If you do make moulds and parts I would definitely want a set.
-
i have been looking for those also, none are available, the oem part is actually a couple parts not one big piece but anything is better than nothing i believe.
-
String's got the upholstered part in his red collection I think? Might need to be installed it seems flexible
-
You are right , I do have the parts and wanted to add them all to the picture gallery . The weather has been so wet and dark lately , the pictures are too dark and I wanted to take a decent collection, I am a bit limited for space unfortunately.
I don't want to post any workshop manual pics because of (c) but all they show is the rear of the part to be installed in one pic and an arrow pointing to it in place in another , so you have no idea what a panel is fixing to . That was until LA12241 posted all those wonderful chassis pics , so I know I need to do the panel pics to complete the inventory .
I'm sorry I don't understand "Might need to be installed it seems flexible" , if you could explain.
-
If one were to get a mold of it I meant, it looks like it would need to be bolted to the car
isn't half of it just fabric with little backing?
I wouldn't expect you to mould anything though, I personally was just going to carve out my own parts based on any measurements given
-
the rear of that area is actually part of the upper firewall and is metal, then a form, sound barrier/insulation and the leather finish. the rest of the part is in multiple sections for assembly as one part is on the door pillar and the other section is on the rear firewall quarter window cup area and they meet with a visual seam line.
i have chatted with Cliff, and his body kit has the part we are looking for, but he is a busy man so i dont know if it is possible to get just that area as a part or not.
i am afraid to have String make a mould from his OEM part with all that sexy leather on it for fear something going sideways and destroying anything...
i have looked into buying those parts and its would be around $900 per side used for me to purchase,
hmmm i thought i had a picture but i guess i dont
-
A factory film still , showing the rear quarter window area fitted with insulation whilst the rear window glass is being installed.
-
More interior pieces posted in subsections , these show some of the fixing brackets and how some parts fit together.
