Wiring a VDO 437 053 Speedo to the VSS
« Reply #1 on: March 21, 2021, 05:49:32 PM »
Old school to some and new school to others.  I'm wiring a VDO 437053 programable 160 mph speedometer to a 4T80e Cadillac transaxle.  VDO instructions show wiring the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) directly to terminals #7 & #8 on the gauge unit.  I also have a "Speedo Out" coming out of the PCM.  My best guess would be to wire it as described in the VDO instructions.  Right???   Anyone on here done this before?  Thanks in advanced.

I think that I found a wiring diagram that is worth trying @  https://www.autometer.com/media/manual/2650-1268.pdf
