to good for 30 Big ones

I'm not so sure it's a scam. I think this is the guy that used to make the crp Diablo. Remember he's not selling a completed car, just the kit. Someone close by should pay him a visit to look at his product.
-
If he is legit, I would expect to see some photos of the raw, out-of-the-mold parts he is selling, instead of just a blurry photo of a finished car.
-
Hey, I have no idea. It might be a scam. I'm just saying give it a chance, send some one who lives close to verify.
-
Quote from item description on Ebay: "We will be adding photos as we dial in our auction. Pictures of the finished car is for demonstration purpose only and not what you will be receiving."
Cut some slack until you have purchased or seen his product. Buyers be cautious. See before Pay.

Agreed, cut some slack, but if someone "Spent 20 years perfecting...so that this kit is like no other on the market", you would think that they would have at least more than one picture. Just sayin. What does "Live draft of an auction" even mean?
-
Slack?? We’re talking about thousands. Plus in this hobby scams are not rare (to say the least)

Well SC is a member of this forum, he can comment if it is valid or not.... but he is also know for having many different profiles.... I wonder why?????

Good point, let me better define. Slack when it comes to the benefit of the doubt for credibility, absolutely none at all when it comes to a purchase.

He’s legit. But he’s extremely over priced. He made a YouTube video of his car several months ago that he would be selling his kits complete where all it would need is the running gear for $45,000

FlankerG...
I'm not trying to cause a big dispute about whether his $45,000.00 price is valid or not BUT, you have to consider how much work and material is involved with an "engine minus" build. If it is true at $45,000.00 for everything done except the drivetrain, you would have to compare it to the various GT40 cars that are available in an engine minus condition. To me, as long as it isn't a cheap ripoff pile of junk, but a decent car you would want to drive just minus the engine, that price seems reasonable.
Ask anyone who has built one of these how much time and money it takes to get to that point in their build.
Sometimes you only get what you pay for.
