There is a guy up in NJ building a awesome Superlite his build thread is here:

I have decided that the Superlite coupe is going to be my next build. I figure I can build a decent one for $60k, maybe less if I can find a unfinished project... If anyone hears of a unfinished Superlite let me know....

I like these cars and they really have them down to a science now. How nice would it be to build a car that was pre-engineered and all holes were drilled and tapped? ::counfused
For most of us I think this would be too easy and we'd want to hide half the parts and light ourselves on fire just to make assembly more challenging (gluttons for punishment). ::headbang

those are amazing cars and it seems they have everything figured out for the build ::bounce once i do my G28 Roadster I want to have it as easy and professional as possible too - it's nice that by 2013 the murci builds have gotten far enough to provide us 'new commers' with extensive examples to copmplete a build with less drama - although as chris said the drama is part of the show.. ::beers

Yeah I think that will be one of my next projects!
Probably would have been a better first one actually

Totally agree on that one and I personally would've probably built one of those over the project I'm working on now. I actually looked for a McLaren F1 replica before settling on the G28 and the Miami car has a lot of styling queues that resemble the F1. Given the pre-engineered assembly on top of being around $20,000 less than I expect to have in my build and this starts to create a little remorse. :)
Oh well.. like you said, it can always be my next build.

The superlight car will be my next build, I have already spoke to them and will be buying the stage 4 kit, this is basically a kit that needs a small amount of assembly and mostly drive train and finish work but, I have to finish this Lambo build, I 'm with you No Bull maybe a little remorse...

Aren't they in the range of 50-80K completed? http://superlitecars.com/ (http://superlitecars.com/)

Yes, that will be about 20k less then what I have in a fake super car, I can say without a thinking about it, that will be my next car
-
my next build too (: let's make a forum for it and go chat there ::headbang
as for the 20 Mucielago Builds on this forum, we really need some pics and hopes and updates! where is everyone in their build process and what do you anticipate next? I guess that needs a different post too ::salute

We ran into a couple issues with my quarters, see my chassis is basically OEM everything lines up perfect but there is not a kit built that has the inner connection to the upper piece of the quarter, so I had to purchase the upper pieces and have them grafted to the kit quarter so there was some issues with the fit so I have purchased two OEM quarters, anyway picking my car up April 23rd and transporting to paint I will post pics as soon as I can get some new ones... I can certainly see why guys would build on a donor its just I wouldn't do it that way because of preference but it does make sense if you are working with limited budget and not as concerned about performance, I mean NO dis respect to anyones build at all but, if I was going to do another lambo build and money was tight I would 100% build on a donor but, honestly not sure if it very much cheaper once you start stretching and all that...We plan to do a complete build manual for a chassis like the one I have if anyone ever wants to have the plan and know what is involved..

Murcielago plans would be nice, I have a hard time with the parts that are different in the diablo/naerc plans. mainly rear, some of front.

I just noticed that the ddr supercar uses what looks exactly like a chassisworks chassis :S

Both kits are cool and I'm especially glad to see DDR already selling after the difficult period they had a few years ago. Thanks for the links. :)
