I'm working on a paddle shift system for manual transmissions. It should cost $400-500 plus the cost of the paddles (I'm using Mitsubishi Lancer paddles, cheap on ebay). (I'm a PhD robotics guy, so this is the kind of thing I design/ build all the time). The first version uses a manually operated clutch, but eventually that will be upgraded include AI based clutch automation (I haven't priced this part of the system yet, but can be added anytime after).

Unfortunately, I'm working on 100 projects simultaneously, so it's not ready yet. I'll be happy to share the system design with you once I have the prototype finished. I will be focusing on it once I get the car painted (sometime in the very near future. Should be priming within two weeks).

I'd recommend using cobalt bits. A bit more expensive, but they pay for themselves many times over.

I do have a drill sharpener, but I won't recommend it as the results aren't as good as I would have expected... of course that might be a result of operator error.

If anyone is interested, I have some extra parts for sale, prices are negotiable. I can post more photos if there is any interest otherwise I will put these on ebay eventually.
