turn signal parking light function

Hey fellas,  sorry been out of the loop for a minute, my apologies for some reason I was thinking the side marker lights should work with the turn signals rookie mistake got it figured out everything  wired up all nice and neat working perfectly thank you all for your time, and very much appreciated advice Drum.

Murci-Me:  Drumseven's chassis is a stretched Fiero.  Stock or Custom wiring: Unknown.  Still need help from Heath.  I like Mumbo-Jumbo.

   I too have been trying to make this work. Here is a typical GM diagram with a typical GM steering column connector, this is also a Fiero diagram. How does it work?

When you can post what donor vehicle was used for this build I will be happy to draw a diagram on how to make it work without diodes and relays and all the other mumbo-jumbo.

I still think that if you throw in some 15w leds it will be bright enough to blind any raccoon.  Don't want to laser any holes in the trunk lid of the car in front of me.

01, that is what I suggested but do you really need the diode jumper and the other diode? All that does is allow both filaments to be used for the turn when the park is not in use, and that does not seem necessary to me.

Murcie-Me, I tried to use the same LED light for both some years ago and was not able to figure it out. Assuming the wiring harness is a blank sheet of paper, how is it done?

Drumseven, after it is resolved, there is one other thing to consider. Not that it would ever become an issue with an inspection or traffic stop, but when the turn signal is blinking, the park light which is supposed to remain on, is off for half of the time. Sounds trivial, but I have learned not to give them a reason.

We still don't know why but here is a how to:  Without the parking lights on, the turn signals will be brighter.  With the parking lights on, not so much.  01

If it is the Fiero and the wiring isn't all hacked up you should be able to splice into the front side marker and get it to be a parking light and blinker since it does that anyway or atleast that is what I did.

What  donor is the car built on? What you want to do is easy to accomplish, but it would be difficult to explain what to do without knowing the current wiring that's in the car. You don't need diodes or relays or circuit boards or dual filament bulbs, you just need to wire it correctly.

That is two separate circuits on two different fuses. The turn signals originate in the steering column and the park lights originate in the light switch. Replace the socket and bulb with dual filament ones and leave them on two separate circuits, but that would look identical to what you have, which is I guess the objective.

Do you want to have brighter front turn signals or what is your goal?  Since all four corners of park/marker lights are on the same circuit, you might not be able to wire that up without a pc board or a gizmo chip.  Go LED.  Before you buy, I could come down with my box of assorted LEDs so that you could try them out.

Hey fellas, im trying to figure out how to have my front turn signals and parking lights function together on my Diablo roadster, i can get just turns but if i add in the parking light wire i lose turn function when parking lights are on ,and it back feeds and makes both my tail lights flash,i hope this makes sense, im not sure if i need to do some type of relay or one way diode ,any help would be greatly appreciated.
