Hi Aeauto Is it the tcm-2000 from powertrain control solutions? That's the only one I can see that controls the 5hp. I was emailing one of their guys but when I told him my application he never got back to me and I resent it several times. Not ready to buy it yet anyway, I assumed it should work but not 100%

I don't know if that is the one or not.  My transmission and clutch guy said he could supply one and I am just going on what he said.

Transcend look for the trans from fwd cars not quattro or AWD
I bought mine on ebay I can't remember how much maybe around 600, not as much as the ones on that site. then again the awd's probably cost more not sure. I know my audi's awd trans was huge, would never fit in a mid-engine chassis.

I don't know what the going rate is on used transmissions.  The price I quoted would be for a rebuilt one.

I have 5hp19 from a 2.8 passat, several car makes use it the only difference would be the torque converters. it fits my audi a8 engine. Still need to find a way to control it.

I can get a controller for it.  They are around $1000.

The transmission is the ZF  5HP19 5 speed automatic.  I am not sure which model of Audi used it or the years.

Somewhere around $5000 for the transmission and controller.  I will have to check with my transmission guy for a firm price.  The adapter kit will be an additional $1400.

How much is your budget?  Do you want longitudinal or transverse installation.  I can set you up with an Audi automatic that can be shifted with a paddle shift or if you want a manual transmission you will need to go with a sequential shift like something from Mendeola.

Which transmission should I get if I wanted to pair it with an LS7 Engine, and I want it to have Paddle Shifters, and +/- On the shift knob (like the scion fr-s)
