Think about it.....

I would also not allow joe schmo to take a pic of my cars from the back.... license plate to be seen by every one.

No different from a person taking a picture of the rear while driving behind the murci.

A pic is a pic is a pic.

As the poster above said. If you don't want pictures, don't drive a flashy car and leave it in the garage.

Hi.... Agreed but the difference hear is that he asked the owner vs taking pic without asking.... Same as if you had a hot wife.... I am sure if Joe shmo came up to you and ask if he can take a pic of your hot wife's hooters,  you are going to say piss off but you have no control if some one takes pic of her in public without your knowledge..... Any way happy holidays

Hahaha...I don't know... Kind of strange terms that is all I was saying but it takes all kinds to make the world go round. I have no reason to doubt it is real.
If I don't have time to do it right, when will I have time to do it over?

He was a super nice guy, and he let me look all around the car, inside and out. He just wouldn't pop the hood or let me take many pics. He also said he has owned three so far, 2 Murcielago's and one Gallardo. And of course I ask him if it was real, he said yes he actually owned a replica Diablo at one time and that is what made him want a real one, so he bought the Gallardo and got the others later, I don't remember if he said he still had all 3 or just the 1 now.

Hehehe, how is someone really going to stop another person from taking a picture from a certain angle of their car in public. Ask Hollywood stars how that works out for them. I can sort of understand not wanting your plate broadcast all over the net - sort of. However, if you really don't want pictures taken, better not leave the garage. These are some of the most photographed cars in the world. The guy better get used to it. Honestly, it comes with the territory.

Good point.

Is odd he has the doors open though!

Maybe he is a fairly new owner and just likes to see the doors open b/c they're cool.  I don't know.

Ok. So the guy claims this is a real 03 murcielago, but wouldn't let me take alot of pics and wouldn't show me the engine. It had the correct tail lights and interior looked legit to me, but what do Y'all think?
Also to the OP. Did you ask him if it was "real"?  If i was a Lambo owner i would think that question would get as old as "how fast does it go?".  So maybe he was just a little annoyed?

Not often do you see a replica '03 murcie with real headlight lens, wipers, interior, etc. etc. etc.
Extreme's usually have mr2 interior.

Is odd he has the doors open though!

If i had a lambo i wouldn't open the engine hatch every time Joe Blow asked to see it.  Looks genuine.
I totally agree. It probably gets really annoying. It just seems odd to me that the guy only allowed pictures from the front.

I still cant figure out why they always leave both doors open or any doors open for that matter...

regardless of the door design,  leaving them open is just invitation for anyone to come along and help themselves to a seat or picture op.  etc...   just saying, i cant see myself doing that for any reason other than an initial picture to show off the doors actually mounted and functioning...

along with the points already made, i will add: Inner door trim looks correct,  the windshield looks correct, though i see the cowl flange seems to be lifted with the driver door...
the wiper assembly is correct, even the mirrors are correct,  so i would say its a real deal without seeing anything else on the car.

It must be real.  We all know they come from the factory with a blue pine tree air freshener hanging from the inside mirror!

It isn't enough to want a Lambo, you have to want to BUILD A CAR.

Wonder why the guy was so strange about pictures being taken?
