Gaps are looking real good. Time you invest now will pay dividends when you are in paint.

Well I'm going to have to go on a business trip today but I was able to get more work on the front fender yesterday.  I really wanted to finish the left side of the car this weekend but now it's going to have to wait.  :(

I've been doing a ton of body work and I am still only on the left side of the car.  I'm pushing to get this side finished by the end of the week and in primer by the beginning of next week.  Also I got my new plates in yesterday, I can't wait to be able to get them on the car and driving on the street.

Rear bumper and wing done, moved on to the left quarter panel.  Lots of sanding still left on this.

I have been doing some bodywork on my rear bumper and on the wing.  I gave them their first round of primer with guide coat, if they come out ok with the blocking then they will probably only need one more round of primer.  I took care of the flaws before I primed them so they should be pretty good already.

ok so I removed the little paint sticks and I am very happy with the results they gave me.  Panels are nice and flush and hopefully won't require that much body work.

Today is the day I bond my doorskins on.  To help me out I hot glued pieces of paint sticks to have the skin flush with the quarter and the fenders.

Today I went and picked up my fabric from the embroidery place and tomorrow I'll take it to the upholstery shop.  This will be the material for my seats and hopefully they won't take too long to get them done.

So I got the inside of my doors painted and now I am ready to bond the door skins.  It's going to be a long night but I want to get both done before the weekend as my wife has other plans for me again  ::help

Body work has begun, I decided to start on the rear bumper.  So far I only did some body work on the outside and primed the inside part.

Some pics of the door skin, getting it ready to bond.  I wanted to do it today but my wife had other plans for me and this is as far as I got  ::)

Oh and I also worked on getting my engine lid to fit better.  Still needs a bit of alignment but it's getting there.

I removed everything from my right door so I can start cleaning up the interior and get it ready for a coat of paint and then to bond the door skin on!

that car is REALLY coming together!!!

Thanks Adrian, I'm really pushing to get this thing painted before summer.

So for this week the progress wasn't too exciting but it was stuff that had to get done.  I still had to seal the fenders and quarter panels to the chassis so that wind and water will not get into the cab.  I sealed it up with some fiberglass and next week I will be painting over it and adding some undercoating.

Now that his is all done I can concentrate on bonding my door skins, this is my last task to finish in order to start on the body work.  ::headbang
