Getting my front end all lined up.  I want to get my headlights in there but I'm going to work on hinging my doors this week and I have to find some hinges for my hood also.

Made a little progress today, I installed the exhaust shield on the bumper and my fuel lid.

I'll be taking the ones out of the passat that I have and adapting them to fit inside here.  They look to be about the same diameter.

Made a little more progress on my handle, I made the small arm that attaches to the handle to operate the latch.

I got my engine lid hinged today,I'm using hinges from the trunk of a Honda Prelude.  I can't remember the year but I can find out if anyone needs to know.



They still need some work but they are going to work out just fine.

I added some nuts that I cast into the handle, this will allow you to attach the small lever for the latch cable.  I was also able to find some springs that where close to the OEM ones, these help the handle remain in the down position when not being used.



Here are the nuts inside the mold.
